Free Car From Blogging – Is My Wife Getting a New Car?

March 12, 2015 by Paul 4 Comments

In a previous post I wrote back on January 11th of this year I wrote that I want to build up the blog income from this new Blog to the point where I can get a free car from blogging.

That is my first goal that I’m working towards with my blog.

If you’ve been following my blog since the beginning of this year you may have also seen my two income reports – Blog Income Report January 2015 and Blog Income Report February 2015 – in which I share the current income I’m generating from my Blogging efforts.

In those reports I showed that my income is growing but I’m not quite yet at the point where I would be able to afford to pay for a car strictly with the extra income I’m generating from my Blog.

I’m making progress very quickly, but I’m not quite there yet.

However, my wife who also has a Blog and uses it to help people as an energy healer and psychic medium has also been putting focus on generating more money with her business so that she too can get a new car…

… and since she took the 21 day blogging challenge and has continued to blog more regularly on her blog, she has seen an increase in her business as well.

In fact she is very likely going to be getting a new car with the extra income she’s generating very soon – most likely before I get my new car.

That is the beauty of blogging.

It’s a powerful tool for people just getting started, but if you have an already established home-based business like my wife does, blogging more regularly can help to boost your income very quickly.

Blogging keeps our brand, our services and our energy fresh in the minds of our customers and potential new customers, allowing us to help them even more.

Also if you are part of a company like Empower Network, like my wife and I are, in addition to boosting your business income – Empower Network can also give you something that most home-based business owners don’t have access to – passive income!

Meaning, using my wife’s business as an example, she provides energy healing and psychic reading services to clients one-on-one or in group settings, and she loves her work, but the only downside to her business model before we joined Empower Network was that she had no passive income.

Before Empower Network, when she would work with clients, she would make money.

But if she was traveling or on vacation or not helping clients on a specific day or week, she wouldn’t be making money.

This is how most home-based businesses tend to run.

The beauty with implementing Empower Network into the mix is that now my wife has started to build up a passive income stream with Empower Network which is on top of her existing income as an energy healer and psychic.

She has already started to build a small team within Empower Network and the other great thing is that she is providing an even better service to her clients by referring them to Empower Network in situations where Empower Network is exactly what would help them to take their lives to the next level.

This creates a win-win scenario between her and her clients.

So what kind of car has she been eyeing?

She’s been looking at a 2015 Mazda 3 Sport GT, most likely in red.

Here’s what they look like:

Pretty sleek eh?

Why a Mazda 3?

Well, both my wife and I have had Mazda 3’s for over 10 years now and they’ve been great cars.

We have had very little problems with them, until recently.

Now that they’re over 10 years old, both my wife’s car and mine are starting to get to that stage where things need to start getting replaced and fixed which is why we’re both looking to upgrade.

We’ve never really been the type of people who buy new cars every 2-3 years, like most people seem to do, and it’s probably partly because of the fact that we both make money from home, so we don’t really drive as much as most people do having to go to and from work every day.

But since our cars are now getting up there in age and things look like they’re going to start breaking down, it’s time to invest in an upgrade. 🙂

It looks like my wife might be upgrading her car pretty soon from the extra income she’s already started to generate from her recent blogging efforts, and I’ll be doing the same pretty soon as well.

What about you?

What’s Your Dream Car?

If you had a Blog that could generate between $500 – $1500 in extra income for you each month, and that money could pay for your car payment for a new car, what type of car would you want to get?

What kind of new car would put a smile on YOUR face?

Leave a comment below and let me know.

P.s. Don’t forget to say what color your dream car would be as well. 🙂

How to Make Money As a Polymath / Scanner

March 11, 2015 by Paul Leave a Comment

About four years ago I recorded a video titled “How to Find Your Passion as a Scanner / Polymath” and uploaded it to YouTube.

To this day it’s one of the most popular videos I ever recorded and I continue to get comments and emails from people thanking me for sharing the information in the video.

The video talks about the concept of being a “Scanner” or “Polymath” type personality.

“Scanners” or “Polymaths” are essentially personality types which explore and learn many different interests in life, as opposed to just deeply specializing in one thing.

The majority of people in the world are wired to be “specialist” type personalities and our entire schooling system and society is structured in a way so as to make people who are polymath personalities feel like failures or like there is something wrong with them.

The pressure and anxiety that can build up for polymath type personalities as they go through life and are asked to pick ONE thing that they “should” specialize in for the rest of their lives can be intense.

Polymaths are constantly harassed by their parents, friends, spouses, relatives, co-workers and others to “Just pick something and stick to it already!  Jeez!”

The truth is however that as polymath type personalities, we can TRY to pretend like we are a “specialist” like most of the people around us, but it never lasts.

We pick something that we want to learn, and we get interested and excited, but a month later or six months later we have learned EVERYTHING that we ever had any interest in learning about that subject and now we desire to learn something else!

So how can we find our passion as a polymath?

Well, check out the video I recorded four years ago for my perspective on it:

As you can see from the video, my recommendation is to actually EMBRACE the GIFT that you have being a scanner / polymath type personality, instead of trying to change it.

When polymaths first hear that there are other people just like them out there, it gets them really excited because for the first time in their lives they might feel like there isn’t something wrong with them.

Just knowing that you’re not alone out there can be liberating.

The next thing that most polymaths then want to know is “How do I make money as a Polymath?”

See, most specialist type personalities will always try to tell polymaths something along these lines “Look, if you don’t pick ONE thing and specialize in that ONE thing you’ll never amount to anything…you’ll never make any money… you’ll be a jack of all trades and a master of none and you’ll never make any money!”

Oh really?

I’m here to tell you that’s a pile of bullshit.

Scanner / polymath type personalities can make WAY more money than specialists – but ONLY IF they embrace their polymath personality instead of trying to fight it or by trying to pretend they are a specialist.

Forget traditional career paths.

Most career paths that schools train for are based on specialist personality types.

A brain surgeon is a specialist type career path.

A music label attorney is a specialist type career path.

A sniper in the army is a specialist type career path.

You can’t think in terms of those types of career paths.

You have to find something where being a polymath and a fast learner gives you a competitive advantage in the marketplace instead of a disadvantage.

For me, I discovered that being a Blogger and an Internet Marketer work perfectly with my polymath / scanner personality.

Being a blogger gives me the opportunity to blog about my various passions, and to then make money from that.

My ability to understand various different niche markets gives me an unfair advantage over others when I create marketing campaigns in the various niches.

I can test things that work in one niche market and apply them to another niche market.

I have the capacity for an almost unlimited learning ability which gives me an unfair advantage in the marketplace when learning various strategies for building blogs, promoting blogs, marketing blogs etc.

It’s kind of like how 15-20 years ago, before the UFC came onto the scene, most martial artists didn’t believe in something like “mixed martial arts”.

All they believed in was in practicing ONE set of skills and mastering them.

For example, certain striking arts just practiced striking and they said that to be an effective martial artist you have to master that.

Other grappling martial arts said that all you need is grappling.

Other kicking martial arts said all you need is kicking.

Other throwing martial arts said all you need is throwing, etc.

Then the UFC came onto the scene and as fighters from all kinds of different martial arts entered the octagon, it became very clear that there is no such thing as one “best” martial art or style.

Every style that started to dominate in the octagon was dissected to discover it’s weaknesses and then those weaknesses were exploited until it was no longer effective.

It became very clear that the ONLY martial art that is effective is one which embraces EVERYTHING, not just one style – and the concept of “mixed martial arts” became popular.

Of course this is not a new concept either.  If you study the origins of true martial arts, you’ll see that true martial arts were always all-inclusive, and not just focused on one set of “techniques”.

For me, I see Blogging and Internet Marketing in a similar way to the UFC.

As a scanner / polymath personality you can have tremendous advantages if you embrace a career as a Blogger / Internet Marketer.

Your ability to learn quickly will be a huge asset.

Your ability to learn many different things and then combine them in unique ways will be a huge asset.

Your ability to understand many different perspectives will be a huge asset.

Your ability to absorb large amounts of information and data and organize it mentally in your mind without feeling overwhelmed will be a huge asset.

You’ll have many advantages as a scanner / polymath Blogger / Internet Marketer.

You’ll just need to focus on two things…

#1 – Embrace your Polymath / Scanner self.  Watch the video above which will dive into that in more detail.

#2 – Focus on following a proven system for building an effective, money making blog like this system you’ll find by clicking here.

That’s pretty much it.

You just need to focus on your strengths and to plug into a proven system.

Don’t try to re-invent the wheel or to try to figure everything out by yourself.

Plug into a proven system and I assure you there will be a LOT to learn so you don’t have to worry about getting bored easily.

Is making money online as a Blogger / Internet Marketer the only way to make money as a Polymath / Scanner?

No.  I’m sure there are other ways, but for me the many benefits of working from home and being a Blogger / Internet marketer make it he perfect no-brainer choice.

If you haven’t yet considered this as a way of making money, check out these videos here to learn more how ordinary people like you and I are making 6 and 7 figure incomes by Blogging about their various passions!

How to Structure Your Blog If You Have Multiple Interests

March 8, 2015 by Paul 10 Comments

One very common question people often ask is if it’s possible to blog about different topics and interests on the same blog.

My answer is YES!  ABSOLUTELY!

There are some gurus out there who create various Internet Marketing courses who tell their students that to be successful online you have to pick a very narrow niche and FOCUS on just that one thing.

When people hear this advice, they automatically assume that Blogging works the same way, however it doesn’t.

See, there is a difference between a Blog that you run, and a product you decide to put together, or an eBook, or a YouTube channel or a Facebook page etc.

These are all different THINGS and the same advice doesn’t apply to all of these things.

Let me explain.

Think of it like this:

  • BLOG – This is your “home” on the Internet.  People come here because they are interested in YOU.  If you are a specialist with only one major interest in life, then blog about that.  If you are the type of person who has a lot of interests, then blog about that!
  • YouTube Channels – You can create one YouTube channel for your main blog where you can post generic content from your Blog and then any number of FOCUSED YouTube channels per main interest.
  • Facebook Pages – Usually you’ll want to create a Facebook Page for your blog and then one FOCUSED Facebook page per interest.
  • Products – Products you create must be ULTRA FOCUSED not just one specific interest, but also on solving one or a few problems that your target audience has in that specific niche.
  • Email Lists – You can have one main list, and then many other smaller lists for various topics.

Maybe the best way to illustrate what I mean is to use myself as an example and to use a diagram, so here goes.

(You can click on the diagram below to see a larger size if you’d like.)

As you can see in the diagram, in the middle we have my main Blog ( https://www.freeyounow.com ).

This Blog is about ME, not about any one special niche or interest.  It’s about ME and all of my interests.

When I create content for various different interests I categorize that content by selecting one or more categories that the Blog post belongs under.

So for example, I might have categories like “Personal Development”, “Blogging Tips”, “Music”, “Health and Fitness” etc.

This way, whenever I write a Blog post I can select which category it belongs under.

This way my Blog readers can decide which category or categories they’re interested in and read Blog posts from those categories.

For my Blog I’ve setup several social media properties that go along with my Blog.  For example:

Facebook Page – https://www.facebook.com/freeyounowdotcom

YoutTube Channel – https://www.youtube.com/user/paulymathdotcom

Twitter Page – https://twitter.com/paulpiotrowski

etc.

So on my Blog I blog about various different interests.

On my main Facebook page for my Blog, and my YouTube Channel and my Twitter Page I also post content on there on EVERYTHING.

So that takes care of my main Blog and all the various topics I want to cover.

Then, let’s say that I want to take one specific interest of mine, and to build out a community around that specific interest.

Well, let’s use the interest I have in producing music and being a DJ.

So to set that up, what I did is I created a separate YouTube Channel and a Facebook Fan Page for this.

Here they are:

YouTube Channel – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8dmsHVLuLsTYtobYO0-6nw

Facebook Page – https://www.facebook.com/pages/DJ-Freeyounow/531610173645614

Are you starting to see how this works?

So now when I record some videos, as an example, for my DJ-ing interest, I upload those videos to my “DJ FreeYOUNow” YouTube Channel and then I post a link to that video on my Facebook Fan Page for “DJ FreeYouNow”.

If I write a Blog post that goes along with those videos, I would post that Blog post on my main Blog.

By setting things up this way, I am starting to give my audience more control over what content they want to consume from me.

For example, those people who are interested in DJ-ing and producing music, they might subscribe to my YouTube channels and my Facbeook Fan Page, and get updates that way…

… however, if someone is not interested in those topics they can just remain subscribed to my main Blog and get more general content, not just specific to one topic.

Of course I wouldn’t recommend setting up a YouTube Channel or Facebook Fan page for every single interest that you have.

For the most part you can just use your main Blog for most of your topics.

It’s only when you have an interest that you really want to start pumping out content for on a regular basis, outside of what you normally cover on your Blog.

So for example, if you’re just going to be creating one or two pieces of content on a specific topic once every month or two, then you don’t need a Facebook page or YouTube channel dedicated to just that one topic.

But if you’re going to be pumping out 20-30 pieces of content per month on some specific topic on top of what you normally Blog about on your Blog, then it might be a good idea to setup more specific pages or accounts with various social media sites.

Now, if I wanted to create a PRODUCT to sell to my audience, what I would do is I would firstly choose which specific category this product would be in, as well as choosing a very specific problem that the product solves.

So for example instead of trying to create a generic products on “how to be successful” which is totally ambiguous, I might choose my music production category of interest and then within that niche market I would do resarch to find out what is the main problem that people are facing and I would create a product to solve that problem.

I hope this clarifies for you how to structure your blog if you have many interests.

Getting Started as a DJ With Traktor Kontrol S8

March 6, 2015 by Paul 2 Comments

Today I finally made the decision to buy my first DJ Controller.

I’ve been seriously considering buying some DJ gear for quite some time now, but just quite some time now, but just couldn’t quite get myself to pull the trigger on the purchase until today.

Why the hesitation?

Well, mainly because I’ve had this mental conflict in my mind related to DJing.

The conflict I have is that I don’t really have any desire to perform as a DJ in front of live groups – like zero.  Maybe that will change in the future, but right now I have zero desire to do that.

However, while my desire to be a “live” DJ is not really there, I have a HUGE desire to mix music tracks and put together remixes and mix sets.

When I listen to other DJs put together mixes, it just completely blows me away… it’s like the coolest thing ever!

I love music and songs, and listening to them individually is great, but to me nothing really compares with a DJ mix that puts together tracks and remixes them in a creative way.

I’m in complete awe whenever I see a talented DJ doing his or her thing.

So what I want to do is I want to learn how to do that so that I can put together my own mixes.

When I saw Native Instruments releasing their Traktor Kontrol S8 Flagship DJ controller a few months back, I instantly wanted one.

Here’s the video they released to introduce the product:

I mean isn’t that the coolest thing you’ve ever seen? 🙂

The first time I saw that video I started drooling.  I totally wanted one! 🙂

Since they finally released the controller a few months ago I have been going back and forth in my head as to whether I should buy this controller.

A part of me just didn’t want to spend this kind of money on a high-end controller like this since I’m not planning on doing live DJ gigs…

… and so I would start looking at different DJ controllers at a lower price range, which would be a much easier to justify the purchase of as a “bedroom DJ”…

However, each time I would look at these other controllers, I would keep seeing features that they are missing, which are available in the S8, and I don’t want to be missing certain things. 🙂

Anyway, after going back and forth in my mind I finally decided to invest in the controller today.

I’m a complete beginner when it comes to being a DJ, but I’m really excited to start learning what it takes to put together some great music. 🙂

One of the benefits of building an Internet business from home is that I get to play with stuff like this, have fun, blog about it, and then make money as well!

I can’t wait to really dive into learning the basics of this thing.

Do You Use Tools to Make Money Online or Are You The Tool?

March 4, 2015 by Paul 4 Comments

Today I decided to shoot a video where I share my perspective on using tools to make money online.

Here’s the video:

So what tools do I recommend for making money online?

There are basically three main tools I recommend every start with:

  1. Kalatu Brand Station – For blogging and branding yourself.  Your “home” on the Internet.
  2. AWeber Email Services – For all your email marketing needs.
  3. ClickFunnels – For creating customized landing pages, opt-in pages, sales pages and membership sites.

Those are the first three tools I would start with.

If you can’t afford all three, I would start with Kalatu and then add-on AWeber later on and finally ClickFunnels when you’re ready for that step.
