Archetype Quiz – How to Know Your Archetypes

March 30, 2015 by Paul Leave a Comment

A few day ago I saw a post on Facebook by my sister-in-law Jodi talking about archetypes.

She linked to a couple of websites and clicking around on them I eventually made my way to a website which allows you to take an “Archetype Quiz” which identifies your 3 primary archetypes.

Here are the results of my quiz:

According to this quiz I am 50% Visionary, 29% Intellectual and 21% Spiritual.

Once I read through the descriptions of the 3 primary archetypes that it identified for me, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised to see how accurate this is.

Once you take the quiz, they break things down into 12 Archetypes and they show you your 3 strongest ones.

The 12 Archetypes are:

  1. Visionary
  2. Intellectual
  3. Spiritual
  4. Creative
  5. Athlete
  6. Rebel
  7. Caregiver
  8. Royal
  9. Performer
  10. Tastemaker
  11. Explorer
  12. Advocate

If you’d like to take the quiz yourself to see what you are, you can do so by clicking here.

Benefits of Knowing Your Archetypes

So what are the benefits of knowing your Archetypes?

Well, one of the primary benefits of these types of systems is that they increase our understanding of ourselves.

Most of the people we have in our lives, at home, at work, in our businesses, etc. are all different personality types and different archetypes, and a lot of the conflict in our lives comes from not understand those differences.

For example, as a visionary one of my strengths is the ability to see solutions to challenges that other people haven’t even imagined yet.

I have the ability to study a large variety of different topics and to see patterns in all of these things and imagine ideas, systems and processes out of “thin air” and into existence.

When I worked in the corporate world, having that strength made it easier for me to do my job as the Chief Technology Office of a publicly traded company.

Today I use that same skill to make money from home running my businesses.

The thing is though, that not everyone has the same Archetype profile as me, so if I am not aware of this I can end up getting frustrated with people when they don’t see the same things as I do.

In fact when I look at my past and I see various different interpersonal conflicts I’ve had with different people, it becomes abundantly clear that they had very DIFFERENT archetype profiles from mine.

They couldn’t understand how I could possibly think the way I do, and I couldn’t understand how they could think the way they did.

By getting clear about YOUR archetype profile and the profiles of the people around you, you can get a better understanding of them and avoid unnecessary conflicts, and strengthen your relationships.

There is no right and wrong.  No profile is better than another one.  They’re just different.

The other benefit of knowing your profile is that you can get a better understanding of your strengths and your weaknesses.

By knowing what your strengths are, you can organize your life and your business life to be more centered around those strengths – and team up with someone or outsource those areas that you’re weak in.

I highly recommend taking this quiz and getting to know your Archetype profile.

Head on over to Archetypes.com now and take the free quiz.

Then leave a comment below and share what percentages you got for your 3 primary Archetypes.

The Key to Effortless Manifestation

March 27, 2015 by Paul Leave a Comment

One of the key desires of most Law of Attraction practitioners is to learn how to manifest things in their lives with less effort.

I’ve been consciously aware of what the Law of Attraction is for about 13 years now, being first introduced to the concept by a book called “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace Wattles.

Ever since I read that book, I’ve been fascinated with the Law of Attraction, how it works, and how to utilize it more effectively in my life.

One of the interesting things I discovered about the Law of Attraction is that in many ways in order to “activate” it or to get better results with it in our lives, we have to often start thinking in opposite ways than how social conditioning has trained us to think.

For example, we live in a society and our conditioning from childhood onwards teaches us that being selfish is bad.

As little kids we hear statements like “You’re being so selfish!” or “You’re just being selfish!” with a negative connotation associated to it.

Because of this, and because most of us don’t inherently want to be “bad people”, we create a conflicting set of beliefs inside of our minds where a part of us wants what is best for us (Selfishness), while another part of us doesn’t want to be Selfish.

This inner conflict is what creates a lot of problems in our lives, and is the source of a lot of suffering.

Being Selfish means that you are more connected to who YOU truly are – your True Self – and not only is there nothing wrong with that, it is the ultimate kindness you can do for the world.

The world would be a *MUCH* better place if everyone was just more Selfish – meaning more connected to their True Self and it’s desires.

Recently I watched a video by Abraham / Esther Hicks which explains this concept much better than I ever could, so I recommend you check out this short video:

Pretty interesting how the exact thing (being more Selfish) which would connect us to a more effortless ability to manifest more positive things in our lives has been perverted and distorted by the mass media and our social conditioning to be somehow portrayed as a BAD thing…

… almost as if the ultra wealthy elite on this planet knew that true manifesting ability comes from Selfishness (connection to your True Self), and so in order to disempower us they started a social conditioning campaign / trend where Selfishness was to be painted as a negative / undesirable character trait.

Of course, at the same time as the middle class / poor are made to feel bad about being Selfish, the ultra wealthy manifest the things they want in their lives with less effort by being more Selfish. 🙂

And then, just to show how programmed we are growing up to see Selfishness as a negative character trait you’ll often hear people who are not wealthy saying things like “Pfft… yeah that person is rich, but look how Selfish they are!”

And then the other person they’re talking to will say “Yeah, no kidding…pfft… totally Selfish… who wants to be like that???!”

If you want to manifest with less effort in your life, I recommend exploring your beliefs around Selfishness and watch the video above for a more thorough explanation from Abraham / Esther Hicks.

The One Lie That Guarantees You’ll Never Enjoy Your Work

March 26, 2015 by Paul Leave a Comment

As a coach / mentor who people come to for advice on how to make money doing what they love, there is one lie / limiting belief / program that I come across more often than any other with people who are trying to figure out how to make money doing what they love.

Before I reveal what this lie ( limiting belief / program ) is, I want to first explain where this lie originates from.

See, for thousands of years the human race has had a division of classes on this planet…

… the first class of people were the wealthy / royalty class, and the second class were the poor / worker class.

Now, since the worker class vastly outnumbered the “royalty” class throughout history, the royalty class has always had to rely on social conditioning / tradition / religion and other hierarchical power structures to enforce the division between the two classes.

The “worker bee” class was conditioned from birth to believe that they were born to be of a lesser class and with a lesser purpose than the royalty class.

Essentially people were conditioned to believe that their life’s purpose was to just be a worker bee, and to slave away all of their lives in order for the royalty class to have massive wealth…

… and as a worker bee, if you kept your nose clean, and you did as you were told, and you served your King and Queen honorably then you would die with honor and go to the Kingdom of Heaven and you could enjoy all the spoils in Heaven that you didn’t have access to here on Earth.

Essentially, in the olden days Religion was used by royalty more as a tool to control the population than as a spiritual tool for people to find God.

Today, a lot of things have changed, but the division between the wealthy elite and the “worker bee” class remains in tact.

The only difference today is that the wealthy elite utilize different tactics to control the population, relying on social conditioning and “mind viruses” to control the population.

Essentially they utilize social conditioning, mass media programming, and many other methods to condition people to have a certain set of beliefs related to working for a living and having jobs.

The “I Don’t Do It For the Money” Program

One of the primary programs that the wealthy elite use to keep people enslaved is the “I don’t do it for the money” program.

Essentially, the idea behind this program is to condition people from birth to believe that anything that they have a natural talent, affinity and love towards must NOT be something that they pursue as an income producing activity in their life.

Meaning, the program states “If you like doing it, and you enjoy it, and you’re good at it, and you have a talent for it, then you MUST NOT make money with it, otherwise you’re an evil bad guy who will go to hell.”

It may sound funny the way I describe it above, but you have no idea how often I hear GROWN ADULTS recite these words to me as if it’s gospel.

Logically and intuitively no sane adult would find any sense or truth in such a statement, but because of the way we are socially conditioned, we actually believe this bulls*&t.

So often I will meet artists, entrepreneurs, healers, and other ultra-talented people who have an amazing talent or skill that they’ve developed in their life, but they make their income working at a job that they hate…

… and they complain about their jobs and they tell me how they WISH that they could just quit working a job and to be able to focus on just doing what they LOVE and are talented in…

… but the SECOND I make any suggestion to them related to finding a way to make money with their talent, they SNAP back at me with this statement:

“Oh well I wouldn’t do that for money!  That would be selling out!”

Meaning let’s say that they are a talented musician, and I offer them some suggestions for how they could make money with their music, they reply back with “No I wouldn’t want to make money with my music.”

Huh?!

Why not!?

Selling out?!  You’re selling out by NOT making money with the things you love doing!

I mean, wait a second, you believe that working at some JOB that you hate, and that you despise waking up in the mornings to go to, and being around co-workers you don’t like and dealing with customers you can’t stand is somehow a “Godly” act that will get you in the good graces with the man upstairs…

… but the God-given talent you were given that you COULD be sharing with the world on a full-time basis if you just figured out and accepted that it is OKAY to make money with it…

… that talent you are NOT allowed to pursue, because then God will be pissed off at you?

Because you decided to monetize that which you are good at?

In what universe does that even make any sense?

Look, I realize that the wealthy elite that rule this planet have done an amazing job up until now of conditioning and programming us to believe that there is something WRONG or UNGODLY in making money doing what we love, but it’s time to let go of that BS.

Embrace your talents and doing what you love and embrace making money with it!!!

I’m a Blogger, and an Internet Marketer and I LOVE doing this stuff and I’m 100% okay with making money with it!

Why would I rather do something I hate and despise for money, when I can make money doing something I love?

If you think about your passions and talents and instantly your mind thinks “Oh, I wouldn’t want to do that for money” that’s probably a sign that your mind has been conditioned to not want to make money doing what you love.

The good news is you can change that conditioning.

The way to do it is to get around other people who have moved past this conditioning.

Get around as many people as you can who are making money doing what they love.

The only way they’re able to do that is by having eliminated that belief from their mental operating system, so by hanging around with those types of people you will start to model their thinking as well.

Another way to get rid of this type of limited thinking is to subscribe to the Inner Circle audio program from Empower Network.

Inside this system, you’ll find an entire library of audios which all work on different energetic levels to eliminate this negative program you have running in your mind.

It’s essentially a mental virus which tells you that there is something wrong with making money doing what you love.

To learn more about the Inner Circle program, click here.

Another way to start getting rid of this type of thinking is to read autobiographies by people who lived lives doing what they loved.

And to surround yourself with people who are doing that themselves.

See if you’re currently surrounded by other employee-minded people who all have this belief ingrained in their psyche, it’s not going to be easy to make that leap towards making money doing what you love.

That is why I highly recommend the Inner Circle program from Empower Network which will essentially unplug you from your negative programming with each audio that you listen to.

And of course joining an organization like the Empower Network is also a great way to get around other talented, like-minded people who ARE learning to make money doing what they love!
